| | Golden Eagle Not sure if my Father In law is going mad!! But he seen a Golden Eagle in the Garw Valley earlier on this evening. He even brought the pictures to prove it.The picture clearly shows a "Big Bird" being Mocked By tow Buzzards. I am not sure if he is trying to "wind" me up.....but he was pretty convinced. Please let me know if this is possible? Cheers Mike |

| | | Re: Golden Eagle I don't know where the Gawr Valley is but it sounds Welsh! Anyway, today near Conway there has been a White Tailed Sea Eagle (mentioned on Birdguides website). If the Gawr Valley is near there, then I reckon that is what he saw. A marvellous bird!

| | | Re: Golden Eagle He says it's much too big to be an Osprey and he knows what an Osprey looks like?
I will try and convert pics to jpegs and list more pics. These will be better. It wil show the strap on the Eagles foot....maybe it has escaped?

| | | Re: Golden Eagle I used to play football for AFC Garw when I was at Uni! Never saw any Golden Eagles! Can't imagine that there is one round that way unless like you say it has escaped from captivity somewhere. Can't wait to see the photos if they get uploaded though |

| | | Re: Golden Eagle It's an eagle all right Mike and I think it is the White Tailed Sea Eagle I mentioned earlier. Today it has been seen heading north over Seaforth Docks near Liverpool.
