Colour buff & very sleek
Pink bill - not unlike a Robin's bill in shape
Narrow yellow/orange streak down edge of wing through to tail feather
Feeding on niger seed |

| | Re: Unidentified bird Norfolk Thank you for your replies, we have Goldfinch and Greenfinch in the garden all the time, and this was not like either of these - by comparison the finches are much more highly coloured, this bird was pale, it's body was buff all over, with a pink bill.
Also no red or black.
We do not have Whitethroat in garden, but it doesn't look like the picture in our books...
Any other suggestions, or anybody think they have seen a smilar bird? Could it have escaped from an avary perhaps.
