| | | Re: Jay at last We sometimes get a couple of Jays in the garden they are particularly fond of monkey nuts more so than just basic peanuts, they seem to prefer to open the shells themselves unless its because they look like a grub |

| | | Re: Jay at last We don't see many around here and they are very wary. When we lived in Swansea, they were frequent garden visitors. I have yet to get a good snap of one.

Not only are they very wary but as they are woodland birds it's not easy to get them in good light or without branches in the way. The best I've managed so far is this one...
