| | | Re: Coastal birds Look out for lots of breeding seabirds such as Puffin, Guillemot, Razorbill, Fulmar, Gannet, Shag + Kittiwake. Particularly towards evening check for Manx Shearwaters which are more nocturnal in their coming + goings to avoid the larger gulls. Other specialities would be Chough, Peregrine + Rock Pipit.
If weather permits try + get a trip over to Skomer where you may also find Little + Short-eared Owls + a mass of Bluebells, Red Campion, etc. Fantastic place.
Let us know how your trip goes! |

I saw a pair of them around Stackpole a couple of years ago - wonderful looking birds. |

| | | Re: Coastal birds I visited Pembrokeshire last April and had a great time. Strumble Head is well worth a visit for birds, wild flowers and seals/porpoise, etc. as well as simply a very nice view! There is an old WW2 observation post that makes a very nice hide.
