Meadow Pipit?

Is this LBJ a meadow pipit? Sorry that the photo's mainly the back of the bird, which doesn't help with identification.

I took a video of a meadow pipit the other day... the first I had ever seen.

Maybe someone would have a look at it and tell me for sure whether it was or wasn't a meadow pipit...

Yep, it's a Meadow pipit.

Thanks everyone for confirming that my photo was a Meadow Pipit. It's not too great a shot, but it's the only one I've got of a Meadow pipit so far.

I agree that your bird is probably a Meadow Pipit but have a look at this Rock Pipit photo that I took in the week and see if you can see a lot of difference. Wing bars are more distinct on the Meadow and perhaps the Meadow has white in the tail, but they are very similar arn't they?

I agree the Rock and Meadow Pipits are similar - I really struggle to separate the different types of Pipit. I think the Rock Pipit is usually a coastal bird, so the location where I took my photo (almost 100 miles from the nearest bit of coast!) would probably rule it out.
