Made my first visit to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve today and had a great time! Got my first ever photos of siskin...

...and coal tit...

Also managed better shots than I've got before of several other species, including great tit...

...chaffinch...

...pied wagtail...

...and wren. This one was busy gathering moss all day but still managed to sing at the top of his lungs even with his beak full...

Sevenoaks is a beautiful site - I shall definitely go there again!

The first siskin shot is probably the best technically as I haven't made any corrections to it other than applying a tiny bit of unsharp mask after resizing for upload. But the wrens are my favourites too, not least because of the effort in getting them which I have just described in the bird of the day thread.
