Unhappy Home too late!!

Hi Folks,
I arrived home from work and only just got in the door , my Missus shouting QUICK! QUICK! come here , I thought something was wrong , had she fallen? broke her hip? or bashed her head, Nope! she had spotted two Bramblings at the feeder that I put dried mealworms in, she is certain about the sighting and showed me in the book the rosy breast with white underbelly , the blackish head going down it's back , Guess what ?? they didn't come back,
so I never saw them, Huh!
She also counted 14 Chaffinches on the back lawn so they may have came in with them,
Will have to keep my eyes open for them. and try for a pic or two.

Duncan
ps: this is a first for the garden

Re: Home too late!!

I would have been gutted if my partner had seen them + I'd missed them, but great garden tick!

Re: Home too late!!

That was lucky, well for your wife anyway I'd love to have them in the garden - but with only 3 weeks left here unlikely!!! A good first for the garden - hopefully you'll see them tomorrow
