| | | Rock Pipits and louse! I took a few photos of Rock Pipits- Anthus petronus today. I managed to get some close-up shots and when I got them onto my desktop I noticed a brown Feather Louse on the back of the bird. I cropped the image and enlarged it. Have a look at it here.
I have seen large louse on birds before but the size of this one did surprise me.The photos that I took of the Rock Pipit were quite successful and if you want to see them they are in my gallery. Wildlife in a Suburban Garden
