| | | First Wheatear of the year today.
I had a trip out to Teignmouth, Devon this afternoon, the weather was awful and I thought I might be able to take a few shots of gulls on the wing just for practice really.
A quick walk around the harbour led me to discover a few Rock Pippits and a male Wheatear feeding on the tide line. I managed a few shots and I have included one for you to look at. I notice that a few have been recorded as arriving over the weekend........spring will be here soon! The sun may shine tomorrow, I am going back then to get a better shot of him in better light. Just think this boy has just got here from the middle of Africa, maybe the Serengetti for example.  Wildlife in a Suburban Garden

Nice one; haven't seen one yet, but at least 3 were seen in London on Saturday, including a couple at Rainham. |
