Great driving lesson.

My partner is teaching me to driveand yesterday gave me free run of the car and said to drive where I wanted. Any hoo I drove us (slowly) to a local water feature thing we locally call The Ponds. We walked around the ponds saw a pair of great crested grebes,4 cormorants and a load of dunnocks. Relaxed and quite happy I drove us home (proper speed) didnt fluff my gears or stall at junctions, so will have to go there again before my next driving lesson. I wonder if the examiner would mind a quick detour on the test!!!Fi. X X X X

Loving the driving just got to learn to steer for some reason I keep going left (I have been assured the tracking is fine) and reversing is awful but hey ho it's great fun. What out Somerset.. X X X X

Hi aestarte, your partner must have the patience of a saint or is either extremely brave or brain dead. I tried teaching my partner and it was the worst experience of my life, my feet were almost through the car floor pressing imaginary brakes and clutch, but never an imaginary accelerator. I gave up after a few lessons as I valued our relationship.

Driving instructors went way up in my estimation following the experience.

LOL actually he's a good teacher, his hand hovers over the hand brake when i'm parking but apart from that no worries. Bless him. Fi. X X X X Oh and Nick you might want to stay clear of Bridgwater a couple of months lol.

My other half gave me a lesson when I first got into a car..He took me or directed me over a level crossing (NO BARRIERS) I did a ducks of hazard and took off . He never took me out again in his precious B car..

He is the one who has had three bumps not me
