| | | Re: Two juveniles for ID This is tricky without being able to gauge it's size relative to other gulls but I believe it is a 1st winter Great Black Backed Gull.
The feet are pink, which narrows it to Herring or Great Black-Back but this bird has a very elongated head (squashed-looking). It has a thickset bill, which is very large in proportion to the head. |

Lesser Black-back has darker bill, is less bulky bird than this (note deep chest) + the bird in the upper photo clearly shows pale inner primaries which Herring have + on LBB are all dark! |
