Regents park wildfowl IDs

I took a few photos of the wildfowl collection today, so some of these may not be native:

1: pinkfooted goose?


2: lesser white fronted goose?


3:Merganser sp. ?


4:merganser sp. again?


These two are foriegn and Im not so worried about these but If anyone fancies a go:

5. duck! lol


6. Rosy bill male?


Most of these IDs are from the little pictures on the board in regents so I could be way off!

I agree with your first 2 ids.
Number 3 and 4 are female Hooded Mergansers, native to North America.
I think 5 is a Silver Teal, native to South America?
And I agree that 6 is a Rosybill.

Edit: 4 looks a bit different to 3 so I suppose it may be a juvenile male? A Hooded Merganser anyway!

that would make sense. They were following the other one and then all 4 would dive in perfect sync - was a marvellous sight, but frustrating to photograph lol
