Sorry the photos are not very good. I'm pretty sure the its the same bird in both. I saw it as the light was going. I think its a redshank. 
Seems to have red legs

i have just looked at my picture of a redshank and i would say it looks very similar |

Probably Redshank - first photo shows legs clearly. The only other possibility is a winter plumaged spotted redshank.
