| | | Good Day at CWP Hi
Had my first ringing session today at Cotswold Water Park
We caught 105 birds including 4 birds I had never seen before in the wild
Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to take all the photos I wanted, but we were too busy
Can you name my 4 new birds?
And here are a few more regular faces
Goldfinch
Wren
Lottie
Dunnock....Yes I know it looks like Im strangling him but I can assure you he is fine

| | | Re: Good Day at CWP No not really Naturelover, its just a case of setting up the nets, which takes about 40 mins then have a cup of coffee then start doing the rounds and extracting the birds.

You are spot on..... I had to be told what they were although I did guess the Yellow Hammer
I have seen pics but didnt realise Chiff Chaff were as small as they are.
As far as the best places for bird watching in CWP I dont know, but you can get a map off their website and it shows where the hides are and I believe there is a CWP Blog which people use to keep up to date with what ducks/birds are around and where they are...Hope this helps
