 Hi folks
Took some quick snaps of these two birds when walking the dog at Carsington Water. Not sure what they are  - any ideas?

Your first bird is a Reed Bunting, and the second is an Oystercatcher

Wow!! Thanks guys. I must visit Carsington again without the dog and do some serious photography. They also had a large flock of Lapwings and a view through a scope of a Redshank - viewable from one of the hides there.

Yep definately a Reed Bunting and Oystercatcher.
