Hey there,
I am very new to these great forums. And if you do not know me I'm Alex and I'm 16 years old and live in London and does photography for a hobbie.
I Would just like to know... If you have head any or if any at all Birds inspecting or even settling down in your bird boxes.
I Have had 2 blue tits going around and i know they are looking.. they even tried my rain pipe! But nope no luck there.. they have been in my garden alot.
And decided to find my old birdbox in the garage and put it up..
But it broke... woodworm's eating it alive. So i'm just making a new roof and sides to it.. and a bigger hole.. should be up on monday!
So let us know.. what's your story!? |

Hi Alex and welcome. Yes indeed we have been watching a blue-tit today investigating a box we put up in the autumn. We will be watching closely as it is on our pergola opposite the kitchen window. Hope your box is successful.

Hi Alex
welcome to the site  Yep, we've had blue and great tits investigating our bird box for around 3 weeks now. We put it up too late last May but will hopefully have some success this year.

You can read the whole bluetit story since 2001 on our website (if you have enough time). |

Also, you might like to check out my "youtube channel", we've had a pair of Blue tits inspecting the box for a few weeks now, and I've popped some short videos on the channel, (as well as other titbits)...
