Bird Id Please

Birds ID's are not something I know much about, but the opportunity came along so I took this pic. What are they?

Black-headed Gulls - Larus ridibundus.

Both in winter plumage, the one on the left is an adult, the one on the right an immature bird.

possibly a Kittiwake - Rissa tridactyla

This is why i dislike Gulls...........i am sure they have a different plumage for every day of the year

I agree with Black-Headed Gulls and with the observation that the one on the right is most probably one of last years brood.
