| | | nesting birds just a thought, what is the most birds you have had nesting in your garden at the same time, i have had three species in a reasonably sized suburban garden, they included, collared doves in the conifers, blue tits in a nesting box and a blackbird in a hedge, i would be interested to hear your comments on this , cheers denn. |

This box had been there for 2 or 3 years and never used, but one day my husband noticed some leaves in the box, so he took a closer look and saw an incubating robin watching him! We'd given up hope of anything using that box - how on earth the robin had built a nest without our noticing is strange - we go within a metre of it several times a day. (There are some photos on our nest box website - 5th, 6th and 9th May 2002). |
