| | | 2 more for my patch my little patch has just produced 2 newbie for itself a black necked grebe and a shag both reletivley common i know but for my patch not a bad find

I don't twitch but I do watch for birds all the time and I have never seen a black-necked grebe or a Shag inland either! So you really are quite lucky! |

So you really are quite lucky! | sorry i should of mentioned that particular part of my patch include part of the river stour estuary also as i was comming home from shopping a few mins ago i noticed the number of pintail has gone up down there maybe because of the snow up north perhaps?

| | | Re: 2 more for my patch Good birds. Black-necked Grebes aren't particularly common anywhere in UK, though there are regular sites where you can see them. Shag is a common coastal bird in west + north, but inland birds are not common.
