| | | First bird in my box!!! I am as excited as it is possible to be without actually seeing the blasted thing.
Apparently my father was looking out of the window at my camera bird box when he saw a blue tit poke its head in. He quickly connected the camera up and watched the bird inspecting the box at length, before flying out again!
Sadly the bird has not repeated this trick whilst I am around yet, mainly because we were under rather a lot of snow yesterday and I expect all the birds were all hunkered away somewhere warm.
I can always hope! |

| | | Re: First bird in my box!!! Don't worry, you'll probably have the blue tit back and forth a lot of times checking it out. Ours did before settling. You'll know it's put a down payment on the property when the first bits of moss arrive.

I can always hope! | After our building work disturbances last year I am hoping that once again we will have squatters in our nest boxes,,,,

| | | Re: First bird in my box!!! We have had a bluetit looking interested in a box we put up last week. I dont think he has gone in yet, he keeps having a look and then flying off; my youngest daughter says when he flies off that he is going to get his wife's approval. Cant wait to see what occurs. Good luck with yours too. Fi. X X X X

| | Re: First bird in my box!!! We put our new bird box cam up on Tuesday and we have had a blue tit inside.
When I came home today their were a bunch of long tailed tits close by, just wish I had been in to see If they were interested.
Hope they choose to move in and have a family. |

| | | Re: First bird in my box!!! Hi,
I am a new member and I picked up this message because I have also got myself a camera bird box. Like you I was glad to see a blue tit entering the box for a good look round. Imagine my joy to find the bird has now decided to spend the night in the box.
I have set up my dvd recorder and produced some stills, but I don't know how to attach them to this message. Any ideas?
