| | | Acrobatic Canada Goose. I managed to capture some shots of an acrobatic Canada Goose at Holme Pierrepont today.
The shots say it all really!
I apologise about the last one, I lost focus on it, but it's essential to the story.
Going:
Going:
Gone:
Not bad, flying upside down
We always see this lone Redshank there:
With plenty of Pied Wagtails.
Whilst we were there we saw a group of Firemen on the Rapids:
The larger boat rammed the smaller one, sending one of the men flying into the water.
Sooner them than me, that water must have been pretty cold! |

| - that must have been the 'rapid' response team then!!
Sorry - somebody had to say it, so it might as well have been me !
Love the goose photos - never seen anything like that before, is it a relatively common thing, or did the goose just get it wrong?
Love the other photos too!

| | | Re: Acrobatic Canada Goose. To be honest it didn't click what was happening until I looked at the images later. A few seconds later and the goose was the right way up, flying back with his chums.
I could tell there was a lot of movement, but I had no idea one was upside down! |
