My sisters just started coming out with me and she saw her first goldfinches a couple of weeks ago.
She thought they where sparrows at first until she lifted her binoculars up and took a proper look, then couldnt believe what she was looking at.
( they look like something off a david attenbrough programme) she said with astonishment.
A future birder in the making i think...
