| | | Mystery of the vanishing pics I read several posts on probs with uploading and thought well, it can't be that difficult. I followed the easy to understand video tut and all was extremely easy. The last time I saw my pics they were awaiting approval.
Then, hey presto, as if by magic they disappeared. That's a neat trick, can anyone tell me how it's done?

| | | Re: Mystery of the vanishing pics It is very easy, the only problem is you didn't quite follow all the guidelines. The clue is in the title of the image... |

| | | Re: Mystery of the vanishing pics Good morning Dave , my first pic did not stay on because it was from an outside link, my son did not know it was against the forum rules. Anyway he has followed the guide lines and now my wren sculpture is on. When my very impatient 17 year old has time he will show me how to use the forum Gallery...good luck to you,

Dave | If you want you images to appear in the main galleries, we expect you to title them correctly, especially for the common species. This means in the form of:
Robin - Erithacus rubecula.
You've only to look in the Gallery at any image of the same species and copy the title to get it right.
You should also at least copy this information into the Keyword section.
Then provided your shot is correctly focused, all should be OK.
This obviously doesn't apply to scene shots, but for any species that the id is certain, that's what we expect.
If the id isn't certain, that's what the unidentified Gallery is there for. You can load any image there and then raise a thread to ask for the correct id. This Gallery isn't moderated, so your image will be available immediately. Images that aren't wildlife related that you wish to go into a thread should be put into the Forum Gallery. |
