Are our Birds confused by the warm weather.. I have been watching Two robins and several Blue Tits in my garden collecting nesting material. Normally I dont see this until the trees have leaves on them!

My robin, well my visiting wild robin  has had to defend his terratory quite vigorously lately. He has now paired up with a female, they were feeding together yesterday morning, still getting another robin dive bombing them tho. Hoping they'll nest in our garden somewhere.

The sparrows were collecting nesting materiel today. Some of my hanging basket has disappeared too. |

my flowering currant (ribes atrosanguinea) has started to bud. this is not normal. whatever next? grapes in december?
