| | | re: british birds of prey pictures There is quite a number of falcons here, Gyr, Peregrine, Merlins. Most have been hand reared and are used in breeding project through artifical insemination, the Peregrine falcon is eating a woodcock. I hunt with falcons through the hunting season.

| | | re: british birds of prey pictures Thank you all for you're kind comments, yes I feel lucky indeed to be able to share their world. I get a great feeling of achievement from breeding these regal birds. Its strange to watch a falcon known mainly for its ability to kill, rear and care for its young they feed them with patience , and so delicately, Curl up their feet up and keep their talons out of harms way, and walk and move so gingerly around their eggs or chicks, a side of these birds not witnessed by many.
Regards

| | | re: british birds of prey pictures Hi Colin, what beautiful pictures of stunning birds. I'm very envious, you're so lucky to be able to get close to these magnificent creatures. Both me and my partner are into BOP and spotting them out and about can sometimes be hard but always rewarding. They are beautiful.

Yes it does but I asked Colin to post some pics and as you can see from the responses I think its fair to say most people have enjoyed seeing these amazing birds close up, and the young which most of us would never do.
As to wether you think Falconry is ok thats a personal opinion.
Keep the diary coming Colin......unless the administrators say otherwise of course

John | Thats what I thought bred in captivity or not, they are Identical to the wild
falcons, and by the reply's and PM's most enjoyed a close up look at them.
