I saw several of these this morning, around 8.20. I assumed they were redwings, but the light was terrible and I couldn't really see what I was photographing.
Now I look at it, I'm not so sure. Any help much appreciated as ever. Apologies for the poor shot.  |

that i think is a mistle thrush,but to me he dosnt look right around the belly,seems too fat,might be ill or something,just looked again i am not 100 % sure it is a thrush sorry you will have to wait for one of the professionals to see it. |

Agreed, Mistle Thrush. I think its feathers are just fluffed up making it look a bit bulky.

Oh great! Another first for me then. I'll admit I was edging that way, but always tricky when you've not previously had a positive sighting before. |
