| | | Re: Bullfinches I've been back in Lincoln now for almost 20 years and have never seen a bullfinch in that time (though others do see them now and again). In the sixties they were very common. I would so love to see them again - I'd even let them on my fruit trees! |

| | | Re: Bullfinches Thanks for the video Jane!
I guess we're lucky also. 2 males and a female (together) regular visitors to our humble feeder, and nowhere near any bush?!
I love 'em - even more than the Goldfinches!
Cheers

| | | Re: Bullfinches You are very lucky Jane , I suppose I am too far into town to be blessed with Bullfinches although I get Chaffinches and Goldfinches , I had 34 goldies in the autumn before they migrated.
Couldn't get your vid to work?

| | | Re: Bullfinches I've had a pair of Bullfinches visiting my sunflower seed hanger since early spring, as was noted earlier one eats while the other stays close by. a beautiful sight to behold. I'm also lucky enough to have a pair Siskins taking advantage of a bountiful peanut supply put out in readiness for the current cold spell. |

| | | Re: Bullfinches Was thinking to myself while driving today that i've not seen a Bullfinch for a few weeks then 10 mins later one flew infront of me into a bush, then another 10mins later 2 flew infront of me
It's strange how wildlife does that |
