| | First ever in my garden, WOW! We had a visit from a Female Green Woodpecker this morning it was foraging in the grass for ants and grubs, this is the first ever green woodpecker in the garden and I hope that it isn't the last time it visits, please excuse the quality of the pics, they were taken through the kitchen window, My missus says I should clean them more often, Huh! some comment. 
I tried to get outside but probably disturbed it by doing so.
I'm still trying to fathom out the new camera.

I only get to see them in my local park ..Its pretty hard to spot them sometimes if the grass has been allowed to grow alittle you can miss them altogether. Had a couple of chances for a pic a little while ago but was unsuccessful..I always know they are around I recognise their call and ive given them the nickname of woody..
