| | | Under the wing .. I just have to tell you about the bossy blackbird resident in my garden. He has got me well and truly under the thumb/wing/claw now!
Whenever he sees me in the garden, he flies in, perches on the holly tree and softly slow 'chucks' at me until I go inside and bring him some raisins. He then boldly flies down, right in front of me, (even with a beak full of worms) collects as many as he can stuff in his beak and flies off! He then keeps returning until the bird table is clear of raisins (usually flying up into the tree and eating them before flying down for more) And they talk about bird brained ...? Anybody else got cheeky birds in their garden? |

| | | Re: Under the wing .. Not exactly a cheeky bird but a confused magpie. It makes a bee line for my black and white dutch rabbit in it's run in the morning. I've got two other lop buns, just tan coloured that the magpie never bothers with.Perhaps it thinks it's a four-legged magpie. Will try to get picture tomorrow if I can. ww |
