| | | Fishermans Friend Was fishing on the river the other day, and actually had the camera ready this time to get a picture of what is a a common event in the winter when ever I'm out fishing.
You often get a robin follow you through the day as they seem to know if they sit there and look cute they are sure to be invited to share your sandwiches or be offered a few maggots. They will even perch on your hand to be fed as they get used to you. They also make your rod look festive at this time of year too. (I thing the image enlarges if you click it) |

| | | Re: Fishermans Friend Nice shot, i've had a fair few Robin following me about whilst fishing, Chaffinch can also get quite tame during the spring
At our lake my grandparents feed a Robin everyday in the winter, when they arrive he's always in the same place just waiting for the food |

Paul | But by the look of the shape of him he has had a lopt of success with his begging technique in the past - he's even rounder than me |
