Red Kite Sites?

Is there any Red Kite feeding stations arround Banbury way?,
I go up to my son's quite a bit and see them from the car to the side of the motorway M40,

I do not know of any feeding stations, but they are getting quiet common in an area around the Northamptonshire, Rutland, Leicestershire borders. I have seen them recently in and around Stamford, Lincolnshire.

The Chilterns are an excellent area for Red Kites with easy viewing from the M40 .... as a passenger of course .

I am not aware of any feeding stations but I do vaguely recollect reading somewhere on the Internet that one of the pubs in Watlington did feed the Red Kites.

Sorry, I have no further information .... I guess you will have to do a bit of research and visit all the pubs .

We have never had any official feeding stations in the Chilterns, although some people do feed them in the privacy of their own back garden, etc.

The reason you see them from the M40 motorway is because woodland and fields are present on either side, where the kites can scavenge for food. The kites can often be seen drifting over the motorway. It is also close to the core area where the birds were originally released many years ago.
