| | | Re: Leucistic Birds have you seen any ? No pictures I'm afraid but there was a leucistic Barnacle Goose on Islay this autumn and I remember a leucistic Oystercatcher on Barra that was regularly seen for two or three years on the beach they use as the airport.

| | | Re: Leucistic Birds have you seen any ? We used to have a leucistic blackbird as a regular garden visitor. He was well known locally and was nicknamed "Jacko". Haven't seen him in quite a while now but I think I've got a picture somewhere. If I can find it I'll post it up later.
Blackbirds seem to be the most common ones on this thread. Is this because they're more prone to leucism or just because they are (probably) the most common British bird?

Snap we saw that oystercatcher too Rob for a couple or three years - near the rocks where the house with the red roof is!
We came across an all white crow with dark eyes at Langcliffe, Settle a few years back but we didn't have the big cameras then.........
Same as everyone else - blackbirds with varying amounts of white over the years and unmarked gulls with dark eyes which have caused some fun if you've ever listened to folk trying to make an Iceland Gull/Med Gull out of a Black headed
