| | | Birds in my garden Hi everyone, sorry I havent been online for ages my computer was ill, i almost cured it with a hammer. Any hoo the other day I put up some wild bird seed and nut hanging things to try a attract more than starlings and so far I have had two bluetits, a great tit (result) and a magpie but i dont think he was interested in the nuts he just came to say hello. It is a joy to look out of my window now because i think word is getting around about the free food on offer as i have just seen two robins having a disagreement over the nuts. Just wanted to share. Seed nuts and fat cakes etc are the way to go and I'm sure given time you will get much moe variety

| | | Re: Birds in my garden I'm not even going to start on my computer, but thanks for the welcome back. I have used fat balls but the Shapwick posse of starlings take over and I've had to be cruel to be kind. I dont leave them out bless them (they've got to eat too) but I am more selective in what I give them. Have actually been watching a pair of chaffinches so it's all good in the garden, harmany is restored. Fi. X X X X
