| | | Group of swans in a retail park A few months ago in my local retail park there were about, 12 swans just chilling out in the carpark, it looked very odd, and it wasn't a one off because a few weeks later they were there again, I think the people who ran the shopping area wanted them gone, I am not sure where they are now, but is this very common?
There is a large pond nearby, so why did they hang about there?
Thanks |

Thanks | In a retail park I would have guessed they were hanging around for any food that may have come their way. Perhaps someone had fed them some grain or bread at sometime and that's the reason they were there again hoping for seconds.
I may be way off mark here but I can't think of any other reason for them to be there.

Was it wet at the time because some water birds mistake wet ground for a water body and will land on it.
