Arrow A juvenile gull?
I saw this on the Thames, and it seemed to be more vocal than the black-headeds that were were present. Is it a juvenile one, or that of another type?

Thanks. I wondered if it was a juv BH at first, but its head is speckled and the beak is pink as opposed to red.

I have another pic. It's on the right.

Yes, it's a Common Gull, I think it's a first winter bird.

Yes, a 1st winter Common Gull. The body and head are similar to adult winter, the wings are still juv stage.
