| | | A heron called George I took this flying snap last week and it wasn't until I processed the picture I realised that the heron's head was not in sight. I can only conclude that he was on auto pilot.

It is probably my age and warped sense of humour. In the flying world, the autopilot was christened 'George' and that is why I gave the heron the same name.
Apologies if I am teaching grandmother to suck eggs (should I use that term in the Bird Forum?)
