| | | Re: what kind of bird is this Well, I don't know about anyone else but I'm beat on this. I can't recall a bird that size with white legs. Also a 3" beak is quite large in proportion to a 15" bird.
Great-crested Grebes can look black & white but their beaks are black through to pink, also their legs are dark.
It's obviously a water bird. Some ducks dive but none (as far as I know have white legs).
Over to someone else I'm afraid.
