Hello Dear WABsters
I finished work early today, so I decided to head towards the local lakeside, mainly in the hope of bumping into a hungry
Hedgehog (armed with
Hedgehog food) , and had some wholemeal granary bread to feed the local ducks.
There was a pair (male & female) Canada Geese. Beautiful they were. Anyway, the male looked as if it had a bad foot or leg, was walking with a definate limp to the point of just hopping. As this bird in currently in residence at the local lake, should I inform a Wildlife Rescuer? Or would they not be able to help? He was a really beautiful bird who I fed well with wet bread and sttroked gently. I'm just concerned for it, as I promised I will try to see if an expert would help in this type of situation.
Many thanks.
Scotty
