Anyone notice a significant increase in garden bird numbers yet?

There seems to be a lot of wrens my way. More than last year I think.

A colleague of mine says he has more Greenfinches at the moment. Europe must be getting cold. either that or they've eaten all the food!

We have more goldcrests and coal tits in the garden this year than any year previously, although this might be due more to moving house in the Summer than anything to do with the weather...

Oh ... and I had a pair of Coal tits - didnt have them last year (thanks Chris for the reminder.) you can send the goldcrest over to me when you've finished with it

Had loads of sparrows, magpies, tits, chaffinches, blackbirds, Hedge sparrows and wrens. The Fieldfares are starting to grow in number but no goldcrests near the garden though they are in the area.
