Am I right in thinking that this Wagtail is a European Migrant

Looks like a young Pied Wagtail to me, so it will have been bred in Britain. The Continental race, White Wagtail, is a lot paler grey than that. I notice you're based in Leicestershire - White Wagtail is a scarce passage migrant through the county in spring (usually double figures), but very rare in autumn (less than annual). They are often claimed, but I've personally never seen a definite White Wagtail locally in the autumn!

I'd agree with the others. I get lots of the grey version around here. (At work anyway ).
