Black redstart
Is this a black redstart?





I took this in romania on friday. I know technically its not british, but I think its a british species

Before today i wouldn't have had a clue but now i can proudly say, yes it's a Black Redstart.

I was lucky enough to have one in my garden this afternoon...

It sure is a Black Redstart and yes we do get them here, they are very local breeder also as a passage migrant.
