Hi all, I'm a member of several photography forums and someone has posted a shot of a very colourful bird and I've been trying my best to identify it. I've typed 'blue bird, orange breast, black head' in Google images and, apart from an American Robin, it's not giving me much help.
Please can anyone ID this for me? Sorry that it hasn't been uploaded to the Gallery but it's not my work and it would be under the minimal size requirements. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1409/...e8d0290a_o.jpg

Its def not british or european species. An exotic of some sort - nice plumage  No idea what it is though  |

Its a Superb spreo starling - Spreo Superbus, an African species and a fairly common cage and aviary bird in the UK
