| | | Peregrine Falcon in Birmingham I just thought I'd post another of my crazy bird of prey sightings !
I was walking along the canal network in Birmingham the other week, when I heard the classic 'bird of prey' call from above. Looking up, I saw the distinctive outline of a Peregrine Falcon, coming in to land, of all places, on the top of the BT tower - right in central birmingham !! If you live or work in Brum it could be worth keeping an eye out if you are in the water street area.
...it also explains all the nervous-looking pidgeons I've been seeing |

| | | Re: Peregrine Falcon in Birmingham The closest I ever got to one was up on the North York moors - I was walking past a crag, looked up and no more than 10ft away saw that distinctive executioner's mask looking down at me !
It then shat on me, and flew off ! |
