Black necked Grebe?
I've been looking for a BNG on one of my local lakes without much luck. It's definatly there but I can't seem to find one exept this one that looks different from the rest. Don't suppose I got lucky have I.

sorry to dissappoint you dai, but thats a dab chick, otherwise known as a little grebe. still its a good photo, and little grebes are seriously cute!

Sorry you didn't get the B N Grebe Dai. If you want to know what they look like here are a couple of photos.

The next two are cracking images by Dean Eades. First thing to note the eye colour Dai.


This is in summer plumage. What a stunner of a bird.
