| | Owl Pellets Apart from going out walking in woodland and Fields near nests does anyone know where i can get Some owl pellets for children to take apart and examine them to see what they can find in them... It is something i really enjoyed doing and found really interesting, and am sure the kids would love it. I am looking for a fair few if possible.

Kymba,
Unfortunately I don't think there's a real substitute for using 'wild' owl pellets: captive owls are not fed on such a range of small mammals as 'free range' owls. It's ok if you just want to discover some bones but if you want the fun of distinguishing mice, voles and shrews you really need wild ones.
Perhaps try your local wildlife trust for info or ask at a local RSPB members meeting.
