| | Re: Buzzards I was in Chester the other day and was amazed how many buzzards I spotted around that city, I also remember travelling on the train last year from shrewsbury to Hereford, and decided to count how many buzzards I would spot from the train window in that fifty mile journey, I counted 28
I was brought up near the Brecon beacons and buzzards were very common on the outskirts of merthyr tydfil way back in the sixties. |

| | | Re: Buzzards We did have a couple here in Bridwater, well just outside but I havent had a chance to go and see how they're doing. The ones in Devon though are always stunning and I get great aerial shows from them when I am there. Fi. X X X X

| | | Re: Buzzards We think we saw a couple circling together on Sunday when we were walking in the Yorkshire Wolds.
It was fascinating that each time they drew close together they strated chattering to each other. It seemed friendly but I'm no expert.

Just wondered if anybody knew about there migration, whether they do migrate alot or are the birds i'm seeing now likely to be resident birds? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
