| | | Swallow on BBC Nature's Calendar Website Just thought that members might like to know that three pics that appear in my WAB gallery have been selected for the BBC Nature's calendar website. The three photos are of a young swallow; a Small Tortoiseshell and a speckled wood. Here's the link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/naturescalendar...ry/index.shtml

Love all three shots but the speckled wood is my favourite (even if the Beeb did call it a moth!). I've never seen a butterfly shot quite like that one.

| | | Re: Swallow on BBC Nature's Calendar Website Oooo there open for winter shots. Now if I can just rescue the shots of the the ducks in the snow from last winter of my nearly dead computer...
And to John: a personal comment by chris packham is something to 'casually' bring up in conversation |

Dave P. | Thanks for the comments. I also really like the shot of the speckled wood butterfly (the Beeb not me got it wrong) and I was well pleased to get it as it was a much more difficult shot to get than the swallow. Nonetheless the swallow is still a nice image and it wasn't yawning as the Beeb said (wrong again) but was calling for its mother and wanting to be fed.

Well done,
