Despite mistley walls being on my doorstep we were driving home today along the walls from shopping and just had to stop the car to watch hundreds of waders all take to the air at the same time i've seen starlings before they roost wheeling in the air and i've seen waders at various other places but to see them literally on my own doorstep made this even more spectacular also there seems to be more than ever there this year or maybe i just hav'nt been looking in previous years

not to sure what they were cause they were along the edge of the channel a fair way out and i never had me scope or bins with me but when the tides in theres loads of godwits right next to the road so i rekon it was them still good though
