Well our swans are not feeling ill

Is that the Royal 'our'.

The swans all belong to the Queen. So I guess she will be footing the bill for her pets having caught flu. Somehow I doubt it.

I wonder if she's ever had Swan Pie! Cos that's what the Royal's used to do with them.

Definitely not British royalty. Don't have time for any of them except Harry. He's a good lad. Loves his grandma and has an eye for the ladies. He'll go far that one

In our local river - The Freshney, we have quite a population of waterfowl. A couple of years ago, the Swans started to disappear. It was eventually reported that some asylum seekers - from Eastern Europe, were caught in the act of killing some. Whe they were told it was against the law, they couldn't understand why, as they regulary ate Swans back home. They also admitted that they had also caught and eaten many of the other inhabitants of the river including the fish.

Royals and Asylum Seekers - one and the same!

I imagine the swans get to use it the most though
