Super Whooper
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is satellite tracking Whooper Swans from their breeding grounds in Iceland to their wintering grounds in Britain and Ireland.

You can follow the progress of 7 Whooper Swans on their journey south via the WWT website ....

Visiting Welney in Norfolk is always one of the highlights of my birdwatching year and it will be good to see the Whooper (and Bewicks) Swans again later in the Autumn.

Here are some "Super Whoopers" at Welney last December ....
